Where we use AI

• Grant matching: scoring how well your organization fits open grant opportunities.
• Document understanding: summarizing grant guidelines and extracting key dates, amounts, and eligibility.
• Receipt OCR: reading uploaded receipts to pre-fill expense fields.
• Assistant: answering your questions about your workspace's data.
• Drafting help: suggesting first-draft text for applications and reports.

Which models we use

We use enterprise APIs from Google (Gemini) and OpenAI (GPT). The specific model can change as better/cheaper models are released. We do not run AI models on consumer chat products.

What gets sent to model providers

Only what is needed to answer the current request — for example, a grant description plus your organization's mission and program areas when scoring a match, or the text of a receipt when extracting fields. We do not send unrelated workspace data, donor lists, or full document libraries.

Training

Customer data is never used to train AI models. We use the enterprise/API tiers of our model providers, which contractually exclude inputs and outputs from model training.

Human review and accuracy

AI output is assistive, not authoritative. Matches, summaries, extractions, and drafts can be wrong or incomplete. Always review AI output before submitting an application, filing a report, or making a financial decision. AI output does not constitute legal, tax, accounting, compliance, or funding advice.

Sensitive data

Do not paste payment card numbers, social security numbers, or other regulated identifiers into AI fields. 4granted is not a HIPAA-covered service; do not upload protected health information.

Opting out

AI features are optional. You can use 4granted's tracking, calendar, receipts, and reporting features without invoking AI matching or the assistant. Contact team@4granted.app to disable AI features at the workspace level.
